For a number of years, students at numerous seminaries have volunteered at Seeach Sod. Although the coronavirus and the mandated health guidelines have made this more difficult this year, we have come up with creative ways for students to continue to contribute. The students at one seminary have been making pillows for the residents in our Supported Housing program. Some students have run weekly Zoom programs for the women in the residences.
The Ministry of Health permits students who have had the coronavirus to volunteer at Seeach Sod programs. A big thank you goes to the Bnos Yehudis seminary, under the leadership of Rebbetzin Fayge Ben Shalom, who have been volunteering weekly at our women’s vocational center. Most of the student body of the Mesoras Rochel seminary, under the leadership of Rebbetzin Rina Tarshish, have also begun volunteering for Seeach Sod. Some seminary students have been visiting women in the residences and providing assistance to wheelchair-bound women (in accordance with health regulations).
Thank you to all of our volunteers!
