The girls of Nesivos summer program visited Seeach Sod’s Ashirah center on Yirmiyahu street, which includes both a vocational center for women with special needs, as well as programs for lower-functioning high-school aged girls.
The Nesivos girls were awe-struck as they received a firsthand glimpse of Seeach Sod’s work to enrich and enhance the lives of their beneficiaries, and easily connected to these special girls and women.The highlight of the visit was a shared art project. The young women of both Nesivos and Ashirah sat hunched over the tables, working and laughing together. Seeing the wide smiles on everyone’s faces as visitors prepared to leave, it was difficult to determine who felt more enriched!
